Daily Reflections March 25

I try hard to hold fast to the truth that a full and thankful heart cannot entertain great conceits. When brimming with gratitude, one’s heartbeat must surely result in outgoing love, the finest emotion that we can ever know.

It is an amazing blessing to have been gifted sobriety through A.A. and the power of God’s grace provides us with a beautiful life full of love, peace, contentment, and opportunity for service in our Fellowship community as well as with family & friends. I’m humbly grateful that such abundance has come my way; overflowing joy fills this thankful heart!

Participating in the A.A program has truly been a life-changing experience. We are so lucky to have access to a program that keeps us grounded in gratitude and on our way to sobriety.

Being able to give back even just a bit of what we’ve been given through this experience is only part of the blessings of sobriety – the restored peace, contentment and love in one’s life are priceless.

As I reflect on my sobriety journey today, I am reminded that I owe it all to God for his grace—for his gift of recovery and for embracing us in His arms. Regardless of where you are in your path with Recovery, you can take solace in knowing that no matter how lost or uncertain you might feel, God has blessed you with the strength to keep going.

May this feeling echo throughout your journey today as we all strive towards a brighter tomorrow!
