Drinking to forget? Forgetting to drink. It’s time for a change!
The Daily Reflections blog is about the journey that many alcoholics go through in order to get sober and live a better life.
If you’re thinking of quitting drinking, or know somebody who is struggling with alcoholism, this blog post will be helpful for you.

Some of us won’t believe in God, others can’t, and still others who do believe that God exists have no faith whatever He will perform this miracle.TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 25
It was the changes I saw in my new friends that helped me lose fear, and change my negative attitude to a positive one.
When they would come into A.A., it became clear how much their “One Day at Time” sobriety meant to them because for these people there were no miracles outside of themselves–only an all-loving God working on restoring sanity (and saving us) bit by painful but courageous step; this gave me hope too!
I came to believe that a power greater than myself was restoring me to sanity. It’s been over two years since then and I still have my sobriety with the help of A.A.’s Fellowship, God, and one day at a time.
If you’re struggling with addiction or know someone who is, please contact us for more information on how we can help them find recovery in our Fellowship where they will also find love and acceptance from others like themselves!
