As an alcoholic, you might be feeling a wide range of emotions today. From struggling with cravings and memories to dealing with guilt or having difficulty staying motivated in recovery — it’s normal.
Today represents an opportunity for growth and change, so take some time to reflect on the progress you’ve made over these last few weeks and celebrate the successes along your road to sobriety.
In this blog post, we’ll use daily reflections as a tool for self-reflection and mindfulness — allowing us to focus our energy toward finding positive ways forward in life and replicating success stories from others who have achieved sobriety.

Through compassion and guidance from the A.A program, we have each been granted this incredible opportunity for self growth; where once there was darkness, now lies only sunlight as it cleanses away negativity within ourselves!
Whether it’s a past hurt, resentments, or addiction, every single one of us experiences emotional and spiritual obstacles in our lives. It is up to us to choose how we address them.
Through reflection, compassion, guidance and support from Alcoholics Anonymous and the generous Higher Power who gifts us the strength to heal and renew our inner selves, we all have the possibility to open doors we thought were once closed forever.
Let us be reminded today that with hard work and dedication, healing is available and lasting freedom is real. May today mark a momentous day as we come closer to wholeness in being liberated from what was binding us down!
