Perhaps one of the greatest rewards of meditation and prayer is the sense of belonging that comes to us.TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 105

My meditation session told me that the feeling I was experiencing is a sense of belonging.

It felt like my mind became quieter and calmer because when we meditate, our thoughts start to slow down which means fewer distractions for us in this hectic world full of noise!

We also feel contented knowing God created everything so beautifully just as it should be seen – through prayer or mediation where there’s always something new waiting around every corner; even if it’s humoristic (which I enjoy).

If you are looking for a way to feel more at peace, this is an option. You can learn how to meditate and find the belonging that we all want deep down inside.

I am not alone in my experience of feeling deeply rooted in myself when practicing meditation. This sense of home has been written into our A.A., which is another reason why it’s important for us to practice these techniques daily if they work for us!
