Daily Reflections March 20

As a recovering alcoholic, I know that each day is a new opportunity to stay sober. Every morning I wake up and pledge to stay on track, and I make sure to reflect on my progress every evening.

Today is March 20, so here are my thoughts for the day.

I woke up this morning feeling positive and determined. I know that it’s going to be a challenge, but I’m ready for it.

Sobriety is worth fighting for, and I’m not going to let anything stop me from reaching my goals. Tonight, I’ll reflect on how well I did today, and then tomorrow I’ll start fresh again.

It has been a life-long pursuit to find peace and happiness, yet when it finally arrives you feel as if your heart is given wings.

You understand now why many great spiritual teachers emphasize forgiving in order for this feeling not be lost each day with every new difficulty faced; because there are things more important than yourself after all–your fellow man included!

Forgiveness can be a difficult and arduous process. But it is vital to the progress of your life as you journey towards enlightenment and oneness with God.

The more we forgive, the less weight our burdens become and that which was once so heavy becomes light. If forgiveness has been hard for you in the past, please know there are many resources available to help guide you through this process such as self-help books or programs like AA (Alcoholics Anonymous).

You deserve happiness and peace; let go of any negative feelings about what others have done against you by forgiving them today!
