Self-searching is the means by which we bring new vision, action, and grace to bear upon the dark and negative side of our natures. With it comes the development of that kind of humility that makes it possible for us to receive God’s help. . . . we find that bit by bit we can discard the old life — the one that did not work — for a new life that can and does work under any conditions whatever.AS BILL SEES IT, pp. 10, 8

There are many different ways to become ready for change. One way is by practicing willingness and opening yourself up to the possibility of greater progress; defects that hinder your usefulness in A.A., can be found, meditated on, then received direction from a higher power so you may let go absolutely – this will allow you do achieve spiritual wellness and peace with what was once considered necessary imperfections within yourself or others perceptions of oneself!

I am now ready to face each day with hope. I no longer fight nor do I try, but simply believe that God has given me the gift of being changed and this belief makes it easy for me to let go and just be myself without fear or anger.

I am ready to face each day with hope. The next time you find yourself in a position where it feels like you have no control, remember this blog post and the power of surrendering your old ways to God.

Let go and let Him change everything for the better.
