Daily Reflections September 16

Do you ever have one of those days where you feel like everything is just going wrong? That’s how I was feeling today.

Every little thing that could go wrong, did. Until I read my daily reflection for September 16. It was about turning your bad day around and making the best of it.

And that’s exactly what I decided to do. Even though it was a hard day, I made the best of it and am now feeling a lot better.

So if you’re having a bad day, don’t worry! There’s always a way to turn it around and make the best of it

Daily Reflections September 16

. . . no society of men and women ever had a more urgent need for continuous effectiveness and permanent unity. We alcoholics see that we must work together and hang together, else most of us will finally die alone. ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 561

The First Step and the first tradition are like a foundation for everything that follows.

A process of ego deflation, this allows me to grow as an individual through my steps while also being part of something bigger than myself-the group unity offered by traditions

I am able put aside personal ambitions when I follow these traditions because they’re so important in helping make up who we really need each other too!

I am grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts on these Twelve Traditions.

My life has been saved by them, and I will continue to practice them every day of my existence. You should too!
