Daily Reflections October 27

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the day-to-day tasks of life and lose focus on what’s important. That’s why it’s important to take some time each day for reflection, to make sure you’re staying on track.

Today, I reflected on my alcohol use, and I realized that I need to make some changes. Here are my thoughts on how I can improve my relationship with alcohol.

The only thing that matters is that he is an alcoholic who has found a key to sobriety. These legacies of suffering and of recovery are easily passed among alcoholics, one to the other. This is our gift from God, and its bestowal upon others like us is the one aim that today animates A.A.’s all around the globe. TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 151

Alcoholics Anonymous is a worldwide organization that helps people with alcohol addiction.

The group works on the principle of sharing one’s suffering and taking steps towards recovery, but it also offers support for those who have been addicted to other substances as well.

I am grateful every day because through Alcoholics anonymous my desire has continued being nurtured which ensures this wonderful fraternity continues into future generations too!

As Alcoholics Anonymous members, we know that the strength of our fellowship lies in the desire of each member and of each group around the world to share with other alcoholics their suffering and the steps taken to gain, and maintain recovery.

By keeping a conscious contact with my Higher Power, I make sure that I always nurture my desire to help other alcoholics.

This ensures for me – as well as all who come after me-the continuity of this wonderful fraternity of Alcoholists Anonymous.
