Daily Reflections November 12

Do you ever feel like you’re just going through the motions? That’s how I’ve been feeling lately. Every day feels the same, and nothing really seems too exciting or new.

Today, I was reading one of my favorite blogs and it made me think about how we can get stuck in a rut. We all need to find ways to force ourselves out of our comfort zones and try something new.

Even if it’s as simple as taking a different route to work or trying a new recipe for dinner. It’s important to constantly be growing and learning, even when we don’t feel like it.

So, today I’m challenging myself (and hopefully you too) to do something outside of our norm. Let’s see what happens!

Ask Him in your morning meditation what you can do each day for the man who is still sick. ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 164

When I considered the passage above, about how God’s will is that we practice Step Twelve on a daily basis and realized my own inability to do so as well as possible led me down this path.

It wasn’t until then did it occur what He wanted from those around Him-practice! And now with these insights into His plan for our lives here below (and heaven!), things are different than they ever have been before because you know exactly where your focus should be: Jesus Christ himself

There are a lot of ways to practice Step Twelve, and I encourage you to explore them. One way is by practicing the Serenity Prayer each day in your morning routine.

Another great idea is doing something kind for someone else- it doesn’t have to be big or elaborate; just do what feels right at that time.

You can also try adding some deep breathing into this process if you’re feeling anxious about anything going on in your life.

The possibilities are endless! Have you found any other methods that work well for you? Let me know below!
