How can I be sure that my loved one won’t relapse if he or she doesn’t understand the complexities of alcohol addiction?
That’s why it is important to have someone in life with whom you share common aims.
Someone who will always keep an eye on your back, because they care about where their own journey leads as much or more than anyone else does – even above family members and close friends!
I am grateful for the Fifth Step. It has helped me to free myself from my past and find peace of mind in this life.
And yet, it is not an easy step because there are dangers that come with self-revelation–particularly when one’s intention isn’t pure or their behavior harmful toward others.
But if we can take care to always remember our goal–to live a happy, sober life without harming anyone else along the way–then taking this step will be worthwhile.
Remembering what brought us here in the first place may help us stay on track while working through these difficult revelations about ourselves so that we can move forward into brighter days ahead.
