Today is a new day. A fresh start. I will not dwell on the past – what I have done, or what has been done to me. Today, I will live in the present, and focus on what is good in my life.
I will take things one step at a time, and enjoy the journey along the way. This is my commitment to myself for today. And I know that if I stick to it, tomorrow will be even better.

WE . . . (The first word of the First Step)TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 21
I used to be so addicted that I could never think about anything else. All of the time, energy, and brain space in my life were consumed by “I.”
And then one day something changed–it all came down to just two words: “We” There is power when you put together a group of people who are willing to fight for their recovery with God’s help.
There is strength through unity because no single person can make it on this journey alone any more than they would have been able did even if everyone had tried as hard or harder . . .
My newfound faith has given me divine purpose!
Alcoholism is a disease that can be overcome, but it takes the help of others. If you or someone close to you has an addiction problem and needs some guidance, start with your doctor’s office for more information on treatment options available.
For many people who suffer from alcoholism, the first step towards recovery begins by admitting powerlessness over alcohol and turning their will over to God as they understand Him.
You are not alone in this journey!
