Daily Reflections March 5

This is your daily reminder to keep moving forward. Remember, you are not alone.

We are all fighting this battle together. Today is a new day, and we will face it with courage and strength.

Just take it one day at a time. Everything is going to be okay.

“But just how, in these circumstances, does a fellow ‘take it easy?’ That’s what I want to know.”TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 26

I was never known for my patience. I mean, come on! How many times have I asked, “Why should I wait when there’s an easier way?” Indeed it seems like just a few months hard work and A-HA!, you can be happy now right?!

But living the Alcoholics anonymous program is not something that happens over night; in fact this will most likely end up being one of those things where we tell our grandchildren about how different life used to be before they became addicted themselves (or maybe even dead).
