Daily Reflections June 21

Hi friends, if you’re reading this blog post then that means it’s time for another reflection. Today is June 21 and today marks my eighth day of sobriety.

I’m so proud of myself for how far I’ve come in such a short amount of time and it just feels great to be able to wake up every morning feeling refreshed, healthy, and ready to take on the day!

It’s hard not drinking- trust me I know- but when you see progress like this it feels worth all the struggle.

I hope you have an amazing day everyone!

Daily Reflections June 21

The achievement of freedom from fear is a lifetime undertaking, one that can never be wholly completed. When under heavy attack, acute illness, or in other conditions of serious insecurity, we shall all react to this emotion — well or badly, as the case may be. Only the self-deceived will claim perfect freedom from fear.AS BILL SEES IT, p. 263

It can be difficult to find peace of mind when fear is looming over you.

It’s a constant struggle, fighting it off while trying to experience joy and happiness in life.

Fear will try its hardest to take hold of your soul even as feelings for lightness fill the air around us.

When we choose not give into our fears but instead place them at the feet of something higher than ourselves, we become free from that feeling all together.

I hope that by reading this post, you will find more peace and joy in your life. Choose to make a conscious decision today — not tomorrow or next week — to live with faith and trust instead of fear.

You deserve it!
