Daily Reflections July 24

I know what it’s like to feel lost, and I’m here to help. This blog is a safe space for you to read about how I overcame alcohol addiction, and get some advice on how you can do the same.

Today’s post is going to be a little different from my usual posts. Today I want to take a look back at what has helped me in the past month or so that have been sober after getting clean from alcohol addiction.

The thing that has really stood out for me was being able to talk openly about my feelings with people who care without feeling judged or pressured into drinking again by them.

In this post, I’ll go over some of the things that have helped me stay sober each day!

Daily Reflections July 24

Our very lives, as ex-problem drinkers, depend upon our constant thought of others and how we may help meet their needs. ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 20

When I was young, people did things for me and not only expected it but were grateful that they could help.

Why should we play the reciprocal game when others are supposed to have our backs as well? If someone had trouble or suffered an injustice- didn’t he deserve his pain?

The thing is: by helping other self-centered folks without any expectation of return; you learn humility which leads towards peace & serenity!

This is why I am on a mission to help others who are dealing with addiction.

If you or someone you know has an addiction, please reach out and we will be there for them as they navigate the road of recovery.

We can’t wait to hear from you!
