Daily Reflections April 9

. . . let us not suppose even for an instant that we are not under constraint. . . . Our former tyrant, King Alcohol, always stands ready again to clutch us to him. Therefore, freedom from alcohol is the great “must” that has to be achieved, else we go mad or die.AS BILL SEES IT, p. 134

When drinking, I lived in spiritual and emotional confinement. Bars closed around me with self-will; it seemed like there was no way out for the both of us.

But now that my prison door has been unlocked through action—a willingness to follow right actions whenever they are needed–

I’ve found true freedom beyond what could have been expected: an escape while staying free but still under supervision every day by trusting others along this path so as not to lose your Key or forget what matters most about life!

I am living in a kind of extended daily probation that need never end. My willingness and action keep me free, which is what it means to be fully human.

In the same way my own actions have set me free from this painful prison, they can do the same for others who find themselves in captivity—whether physical or emotional.

And if you’re not sure how to take those first steps on your journey towards freedom, we are here with an experienced team ready to help guide you along the path until complete liberation has been achieved!
