It’s hard to believe that we’re already five days into December. The holiday season is in full swing, and for many of us, that means spending time with family and friends.
It can also be a busy time, with lots of activities and events to attend.
If you’re like me, you may find yourself feeling a little overwhelmed at times. That’s why it’s important to take some time for yourself each day, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
Today, I’d like to share my daily reflections from December 5. I hope they provide some encouragement and inspiration as you go about your holiday preparations.

TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 107
What is a spiritual awakening? It’s like an instant miracle that can happen when you’re finally willing to give your heart and soul in recovery from addiction.
For me, it happened after years of hurting myself over what seemed like every little thing going wrong: The person who didn’t appreciate my smile or laugh at just the right moment; worrying about whether this new friend would stick around if things got too intense between us…
All those thoughts went away with one simple decision (to practice Aeneas strategies) because through practicing Steps 1-12–and getting rid of some other habits alongside them!–I’ve realized how much healthier life feels now!
Our goal is to find spiritual awakening. A feeling of peace, hope, and love are the fruits of 12-step practice.
The more we engage in these steps, the greater our sense of well-being will be. If you’re looking for inner peace and want to deepen your spirituality, this might be what you need!
