Starting each day with prayer is an ancient practice that helps us to connect with our spirituality and to set our intentions for the day. Prayer for Today, July 31, 2023
Heavenly Father,
We come to You today asking for Your guidance and protection. On this day of July 31st 2023, we seek Your grace and mercy in all that we do. Help us to remain faithful to You no matter what challenges may come our way. Remind us that if we put our trust in You, then all things are possible. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
We thank You for hearing our prayer and ask these things in Jesus’ name, amen.
The 31st of July marks a special day in the Christian calendar, as it is the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order. This day is an opportunity to reflect on his life and teachings, and to draw closer to God through prayer. By reflecting on St. Ignatius’s example, we can be inspired to live out our faith more deeply and courageously.
